Winter Words

It’s no secret I am not a fan of this time of the year. At all. Which is a good reason as to why I have hardly written, I feel as though I have nothing to write about that is helpful (or fun!) in any way. I dislike cold about as much as anyone possibly can; and I need sunshine. Which is something we barely have right now. If I could be a twenty-something snow bird you better believe I would be. (See ya in the South!) I know I’m not the only one who deals with these winter feelings. I always need extra oomph through the cold. Extra coffee, extra layers, extra words. Yes, words. I love quotes and words in general. I love the power words have to change someone’s outlook on a view entirely. Once my mother gave me this teeny tiny orange book that was filled with uplifting quotes and it is still one of my favorite “little treasures” to this day. I still have it even though it’s nearly falling apart at this point. I was going to write out some of my favorite quotes, but as I was looking through them (they’re all on my Pinterest board now of course) I realized I also liked the artwork that goes with them. I feel like it adds to each piece. So here are some of my favorite quotes, especially to help with the winter blues.
